On our last day of term, Wednesday July 23rd, we sadly said goodbye to Mrs Hesketh. We all wish her a happy retirement, and hope she will call in to see us sometimes.
Our last day of term was Wednesday July 23rd. Many thanks to the parents who organised and supervised a shared lunch for the children. Our end of term play was Evacuees, based on the work the juniors did earlier in the term, on World War II. Well done to everyone!
The children were challenged to build a bridge from newspaper, that would hold a Dinky car, and to be as high and wide as possible. We had some great results, but I do think we perhaps need to learn a little more about gradient!
